This was quoted in the Sunday papers so don't shoot the messenger !
( bet the Government is annoyed they caught Saddam 2 days early, it would have washed this story away).
Rumours suggest another runway at the Guiness Brewery in Essex and a switch to mix runway mode operation at LHR enabling 115m pax a year to be handled... ouch !
(Hey guys why not have landings on 09R with aircraft actually departing over the top on 27L at the same time, with a similar operation on 09L /27R).
56 stacks, another 4 terminals....etc etc
......the chances of a major smack up over London loom ever nearer it seems !
It would be a good time to publicise that we wouldn't mind a few extra flights at Manchester, expect a deafening silence as usual from MAplc who will no doubt meekly accept the findings without a murmur !
