Spotted in the letter that came with my annual RAeS membership renewal forms this week...

We are looking at the possibility of producing, later this year, a consultancy directory in which members' names can be placed together with their areas of expertise. This will then be made available to our Corporate Partners and others in the industry who can them use the experience and knowledge that many of our members possess. There is likely to be a charge for this service. If anybody is interested in this idea (*instructions for contacting the membership department at 4 Hamilton Place*).

Sounds like a fair idea to me, I just thought I'd mention it since I'm sure that I'm not the only tech log regular who does the occasional consultancy to supplement my beer-fund and expensive hobbies. Might be worth AIAA members seeing if they can jump on the bandwagon since I believe that there are various reciprocal arrangements between the two societies.

Pro bono publico !

There is already the British Association of Aviation Consultants, which seems a good place to look for specialists:

True, although the RAeS is a much more "known quantity" to most of us.

Does anybody have any experience of BBAC?, I've wondered myself if it's worth joining.
