There are now and have been for some time B727s based at Southend and Lasham that operate on an irregular basis. Particularly MBI at Southend and the ex Burkini Faso.
As they operate so little I guess that the drivers would be freelance, therfore do they get the pilots from the USA. If not and they are Europeans how do these guys keep their hours up. Certainly a number of these a/c have had significant cockpit kit upgrades and would these pilots be able to operate other Boeing marks.
