From today's BBC news, talking about Vinnie Jones' alleged air rage...

"Mr Jones, from Wiggington, Tring, Hertfordshire, was travelling in the first-class cabin of a Virgin Atlantic plane from Heathrow to Tokyo when the incident is alleged to have taken place."

Since when do Virgin have first class? They have Economy, enhanced economy ("Premium Economy") and business class ("Upper"). Nice marketing there, Sir Richard!

Possibly ... because the BBC reckon that those who do not fly regularly would not have any idea what is meant by 'Upper Class'? Also, Upper Class is simply the name given by VS to their cobined 1st/Biz class cabin.

For the media this is pretty accurate - surprised it wasn't accompanied by footage of a Tiger Moth taking off or something.

Ah, Paxboy - you have fallen for it as well!! Virgin's Upper Class is Business Class - a J class ticket - not a combined First/Business....

Gimme BA First anyday....
