Morning All,

Just thought I would let you all know there is a supliment in todays Independent all about carers in aviation. Doubt it tells anyone anything new - but you can never read too much!

Not very useful at all. More adverts than text. I had expected more from a broadsheet but I guess the Daily Mail could have done a better job. No wonder The Independent is losing its readership.

Did the Independant ever have a 'readership'?

I have always assumed the main purchasers were hotels, who piled them up outside the breakfast room, to give the impression of 'free newspapers' whilst knowing perfectly well that only one in twenty people would give it a second glance.

Anyway, what are Carers in aviation? Is that the latest name for the cabin crew?

:E I think that flyingwelshman was paid by the Independent to post this ad with the hope to bring back that long lost readership.

Suppliment? Carers? todays? From the shocking spelling and grammar looks like flyingwelshman is normally a Grauniad reader! bm
