Anyone know of any new airlines and long haul destinations into Manchester? Speaking to someone very much in the know a few years ago, Cathay Pacific were looking at starting a new non-stop service from MAN-HKG using A340s. Obviously that hasn't happened now, but any other information much appreciated!:ok:

Look at Manchester expansion I think on page 3 this give a good idea of proposed new routes, quite how many are/will be definite
we shall have to wait and see
Definite so far are Wideroe to Bergen , Air Nostrum/Iberia to Madrid, Emirates upgrading their lunchtime flight to a B777
I am led to believe that PIA are transfering al the Transat flights from BHX to Manchester and upgrading to B777
If we at Manchester get the rest someone bet get cementing some new ramp space or we could look like 28th May every day
