Oo-err MS - walking on dangerous ground you know.

Incitement to longest threads definitely NOT flavour of the month at the moment :o ! (and been done to death a bit).

Anyway - Queen. Bohemian Rhapsody. Case closed.

Too many out there to mention but if I was shoved into a corner I would say 'Hanging Around' by The Stranglers purely because I've listened it more times than any other song. Oh, mustn't forget No More Heroes and Golden Brown and........ :D

Out of the dusty past...
Star Dust by Hoagie Carmicheal,
Rhapsody in Blue by Gershwin,

stopped caring after The Eagles, Bob Seager, Creedence, ELO, Pink Floyd and anyone else from that 70's era. I enjoy Enigma but they are virtually unknown in the states....whatever

Hmm, so many good songs listed here already. Cally, don't talk about Tainted Love - there's a long story behind me and that song that you really don't want to hear!

I'll definitely go with Bohemian Rhapsody.

Other good songs:

Madonna - Like A Prayer
Guns 'n Roses - November Rain
Bon Jovi - Livin' On A Prayer
Roxette - It Must Have Been Love
B52s - Love Shack
Michael Jackson - Billy Jean
The Doors - The End

I could go on, but I'd be here all day. :D

VFE - I think we've established this before, but are you and I of the same womb???
I've also spent the last 24 years listening to Hanging Around and haven't yet grown bored of it. ;)

We did this one a couple of months ago, and I can't remember what I said then so here are a few I'm currently playing to death in the car.

New Rose - The Damned
Hands Off She's Mine - The Beat
Parallel Universe - Red Hot Chili Peppers
Babylon's Burning - The Ruts
Is Vic There - Department S
Stay Beautiful - Manic Street Preachers
Career Opportunities - The Clash
Push - The Cure
Trigger Inside - Therapy?
Ruby Soho - Rancid
Bitches Brew - Inspiral Carpets
She Bangs The Drums - The Stone Roses

Nice to hear The Stranglers story on the radio a few weeks ago - I must be getting old if my favourite band get a documentary on Radio 2.

Damn, how could I forget:

The Eagles, Hotel California?

And while I'm here:

Aerosmith, Love In An Elevator
The Fugees, Killing Me Softly
Beautiful South, I Need A Little Time

And, for something a bit more recent:

Wheatus, Teenage Dirtbag.

Now there's an idea, maybe we could make things interesting by asking for you favourite song from the last 5 years???

Eagle18th,

I believe we must've pogo-ed outa the same womb, yeah! Hanging Around is a superbly orchestrated song (IMHO) that I never grow tired of listening to. :)

If I remember rightly there are a couple of other Meninblack fans around here too.

VFE.
