Is there any update on the F28 at LOKI - are all pax and crew okay and is the a/c a write-off ?.

the aircraft had the main carriage collapsed when it touched down halfway of the Loki runway and ended up in potatoes field.
Nobody injured.
does anybody have more infos?

justheard the F 28 from East Afrccia landed on wet runway hydroplaned off the end. No injuries except egos.
The Aircraft is a write-off.

The A/c that crashed belonged to East African Express, tough on the maintenance guys they had just fitted a new LH engine. It landed nearly 3/4 of the way down the rwy just after a heavy rain shower. Poor A/c no reverse and no rwy to stop on, ouch!!
