Snow, High winds and cold temperatures are due to hit the JFK
region from today.
3 to 6 inches of snow if forecast to fall between tonight and Sunday.

Just checked the calender, yep - it's December. Winter. Cold. Snow. Now had this been January, or in Sydney, I could've understand the fuss. But since when has snowfall in NYC in December suddenly become newsworthy?

Alright then, STOP THE PRESS , snow is forecast for much of Scandinavia. The snow removing authorities from Washington DC has been called in, bringing along their world-class (ahem) abilities in keep roads and stuff clear.
