I have a large .mpg file which I want to edit to fit on a CD. This is a one-off job so I'm looking for a pointer to a free editor.OS is XPpro. Any ideas welcomed.

shaky,

A couple of programs that have free trials are:

MemoriesOnTV (http://download.com.com/3000-2204-10248451.html?tag=new)

Full Motion Video (http://download.com.com/3000-2194-10206561.html?tag=lst-0-1)

DVDCutter Stream and Mp3CDWav Converter (http://download.com.com/3000-2194-10222006.html?tag=lst-0-2)

(No Screenshot Available)

I have not used any of these programs, but their descriptions say they should do the job for you.

Take Care,

Richard

P.S. One other option for you is the Windows Movie Maker that comes with WinXP. There are several updates for the program available from Microsoft that give added functionality to the program.

Thanks. I hadn't realised that the windows version had been updated so that solved the problem. I'm glad it was a on-off requirement though - it runs sooooo slooooowly.

shaky,

I am glad to hear you are all set, even if it is a little slow. :(

Take Care,
