Can anyone tell me if the 767 sitting at GLA adjacent to the Easyjet stands has actually flown anywhere in the past 2 weeks?

Everyday when I get in to work it is still sitting there, on 3 occasions I've seen eng out working on it but I'm sure it's been there 2, maybe 3 weeks. Obviously it may depart during the night and return later, if operating a short route!?

Any one know anything?

I am sure it does operate flights and just night stops as most charter flights in the winter are out about 8 am back in the afternoon, obviously with a few exceptions.
Check http://myweb.tiscali.co.uk/egpfgla/ - winter IT flights
and you will see that just now, mon- fri, there is only enough BY flights for one aircraft ?757, but at the weekend there are more. This increases as soon as the ski flights to Salzburg etc start later on in December. Its not economical to ferry this aircraft in and out. It wouldnt be used anywhere else just now. ;)

Here are some links about the ski flights-

The other thing I can think of is that the 767 has gone "tech" and is being repaired, or it might be waiting to go to Maastricht or wherever to get painted in the Thomson.co.uk colours.:)

Hi ,

The aircraft sits there all week and picks up a PFO on a Saturday for cruise pax. Next week it has a few Adhocs going to Lyon and Prague. It must be just as cost effective to keep it up here as to send it back down south.
