Ryanair will bin Liverpool- Brussels route from Jan, and start Liverpool- Gerona.

The scrapping of LPL-CRL was announced this morning, but no mention or LPL - GRO!!

Where did you get that news from?

Radio Merseyside news this morning featured an interveiw from Liverpool Airport with a spokesmen from Ryanair announcing the pulling of the Brussels route, which he said was temporary, and the start of the Gerona route.

Thanks, initially when I read the press release I only saw the new routes, not the withdrawn ones, just reread it and I see that they were included.

Didn't Ryanair sign a 25 year deal with Liverpool and were going to announce more routes and base more aircraft there - swapping one route for another doesn't seem like much expansion!
