A few rumours arround of easyJet upping the stakes at EMA next summer. Some have suggested 7 x 737-7's!

Any easy boys and girls have any info?

Are easy going for a big squeeze on baby?

baby seems to be sulking and taking their planes to MAN, the single new route from EMA next year to Bordeaux only ops 4 days/week :uhoh:

IMHO the sooner bmibaby break free from bmi Mummy the better. Too much Star Alliance restrictions, if baby fly EMA - Scandinavia or Germany, which must be potential markets, then Great Uncle Lufthansa and Auntie SAS will get all defense of their BHX market.

baby - grow up and stand on your own 2 feet!! ;)

Indeed the influence of Star can be strong - do you remember when bmi baby announced an EMA-CPH service? A press release was issued, but within a short time it was removed "1984-like" from the web-site - were SK worried about the effect on their BHX-CPH service?

You also forget that SK and LH own 49% of BD - perhaps thats the reason why the CPH and German routes never materialized.

SK at BHX is suffering these days By the way.

Regarding Easy upping the stakes at EMA it just will never happen. EMA wont get many routes next year and watch the annual passenger figures decline next year. EMA have lost a lot from bmibaby who now want to go to EMA's mummy MAN.

Looking bleak at EMA for next year also with TCX maybe not offering a based a/c.
