I know this was discussed a few weeks ago.

Since I'll be flying into Africa and facing said exam in a couple of weeks time, I just wanted to ask what the questions are like.

I know they are 25 with multiple answers with a 75% pass.

Do they regard the more practical aspects of flying (levels, flight plans & rules, communications) or include a lot of theory (contents of first aid kit, student syllabus and so on).

TIA

Bottom Line is you should study. Yes this thread was hammered a few weeks ago and info was given. I humbly admitted to taking it twice as I also thought it would be similar to what I had been doing in the states. Not so. Most of the questions that I remember had to do with actual items you would encounter during flight, ie Transition stuff, Airspace etc.
When you get there, plan on a couple days to get into a study guide from www.aeronav.co.za and the Radio Manual which you can buy there also...They have about 250 sample questions which if you study will get you through.
Remember what they call the last guy in his class to graduate from medical school??............ Doctor
So anything over 75% is overkill.
Good Luck
