Whats going on at VZ? They've dropped rotations on the BHXDUBBHX route on Weds, Sats and Suns. R they pulling off the route? Does anyone know what they're doing with the aircraft they've pulled?

Maybe somebody in there has woken up to the consequences of trying to take on two low fares airlines on a saturated route!

Or maybe BHX closing at 2200 hrs impinges on the schedule?

According to the last BHX Summer 04 slot filings I looked at a couple of weeks ago, the MyTravelLite Dublin service mysteriously ended on April 30. So (unless they've had a change of heart) expect a quiet exit around then (and likely some reduction in frequency before that).

PS Torque2: as I recall, the BHX closures are Tues/Wed/Thurs nights.

Cyrano: MyTravelLite’s S04 DUB flights are on sale. The timetable displayed on the website (http://www.mytravellite.com/skylights/html/info_routes_timetable.htm#5) is up-to-date. There’s no plan to pull out of DUB. It’s performing ahead of expectations. Double check you slot listings.

The BHX runway closures were on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursday nights between 11 and 27 November. No DUB flights were affected.

Slightly off topic I know, but does anyone have any info on how BHX/BFS/BHX is performing?

U/S President:

I'll get a new listing and will be happy to provide more up-to-date info if my earlier assertion was wrong.

Here, though, is the position at the end of the recent slot conference (Nov 11). These are *all* the records for VZ to/from DUB and BFS which were in that listing. Sorry it doesn't format well. The first time shown is the cleared time, the second is the requested time. "D/A" is departure/arrival, "1C" is the terminal, "J" is the service type, and the last date for each record is the date of last update. So unless ACL or another party screwed up the slots, someone thought the evening DUB service was going to finish on April 30.

What's interesting, though, is that as of May 1 the same flight numbers, at the same times, are shown as operating to BFS rather than DUB. Maybe this was just an error in the filing?

Best regards
Cyrano (no axe to grind - just puzzled)

Cyrano,

Is the slot data in the public domain?

If not, can you pm me for some details.

Cheers

Maverik1 - How are FR performing on the same route? Any idea?

Sorry not a local but........

I know that a couple of years ago the FR flights from LBA were always reduced during the winter months until the April summers schedules. Only now the route is firmly established, does the full program operate through the winter months.

I guess its down to the weather, who wants to go on a pub crawl when its P!S$ING it down?

:p from YORKSHIRE:ok:
