Hey,

Just curious, does anyone have an explanation for me regarding vision distance, the way its written....as in 6/6 or 6/5 just as examples...how do you interrupt these figures

The distance is a standard 6 metres. 6/6 means that at 6 metres, you can read what the average person can read at 6 metres (therefore normal vision - 20/20 is just in feet).

6/5 means that at 6 metres, you can read what the average person can read at 5 metres (therefore slightly better than average).

6/12 means that at 6 metres, you can read what the average person can read at 12 metres (therefore worse than usual).

Cheers,
