Recently heard JET2 is considering operating a LBA to Lisbon service, does anyone know anything else about this rumour and wether or not this would be viable?

Does any other lo-co operate to Lisbon from the UK?:)

Also recently heard rumours confirming peoples suggestions that JET2 is considering a second base at BELFAST INT. Its been kept under raps at the moment..... all that is been said is that it isn't on the mainland UK and "nothing more can be said, as it will give it away".

Apparently,3 direct European routes to be served from BFS from Summer 2004,and without any subs or interference from invest (NI)BFS/LBA to go to 4 daily(Monday thru Friday)and twice on Saturdays and thrice on Sundays................................................

About time BFS got some european routes.

Anyone got suggestions on the routes to be operated?

Well, from where the rumour came from, they suggested it would be Malaga, Alicante and Palma. Malaga is a must, as it's the most profitable route from LBA followed by Palma and Alicante.

Looks like routes that are being toyed with such as Faro and Murcia arn't likely to be seen just yet.

Routes like Millan are unlikely. This route has been dropped from Leeds for next summer....just no money to be made on that one! Apparantly the LEEDS base would have had a bumper profit, if it hadn't been for the Millan Bergamo service.
