Guys,

I am thinking of getting into one of these Batchelor of Aviation courses.

I know that Massey, Griffith and UNSW have them running.

Have any other "mature" rotorheads (30+...) done one of these degrees and does anyone have any comments regarding them in general.

How much credit did you get for your ATPL, 3000+ hrs and numerous licences?

Did you do it online through distance learning?

Which one would you suggest?

Thanks in advance

Frankly, I do not know if they are worth that much on a job hunt.

Any folks out there who can comment?

Hmm I have been thinking on the same lines. Something I could do on my laptop.

I was more interested in something do to with aviation saftey. Embry riddle offers numerous long-distance courses, Steve you should check them out. They seem to have a pretty good rep.. Any one have a degree from them?

www.embryriddle.edu go to distance learning.

might be worth a little more than one of these degrees being flogged from community colleges...

The aviation saftey came to mind after talking to a friend who works for USAIG. Said there was fair oppertunity, espically as an "expert witness" in court and liability cases. If you were on a scheudal , one could muster some extra work that pays well. They offer it as a certificate program, and it looks like you can work it into a masters.

I really wonder if there would be that kind of work?
