Does it look dead????

Wherever Air Force 1 is parked, you can be sure that the US Secret Service "Bubble" will be in place, as well as the tightest security that the UK authorities can muster.

Best not to go pointing long camera lenses or telescopes at it, I would have thought. :ooh:

Tone's going to treat George W to a ride in HRH's BA146. Of course he's not going to tell him it's loaned , our Tone is good with spin. Oops ..... sorry , no politics.

Dada - The thread is dead. Long live the thread.

Of course, any twit can turn on Sky News or something - we all know they have their finger on the pulse.

They should send Bush into Manchester, as a punishment for crimes against the environment and starting a dodgy war.

NOTAMS might give you a clue esp if temporary class A airspace is planned to be created both en route and at dep/arr ADME.

Bush... wasn't he an American President?

Didn't he say 'watch my lips'?

If I watched his lips, I'd surely see Blair's a*se!!

If this thread is dead, no one will know that AF1 is going to EGNV, when dubbya visits Bliar's constituency.

It's a good thing this thread is dead.

Well the Times Online website seems to know where he is going:

www.thetimes.co.uk

Attention will focus on Tony Blair’s Sedgefield constituency after Mr Bush and his wife, Laura, bid farewell to the Queen on Friday morning before boarding Air Force One for a flight to Teesside Airport

dada had better not look at the Chasing Bush website (http://www.interwebnet.org/).

They seem intent on posting as much information on the whereabouts of POTUS as possible.

Lucky this thread is dead, isn't it? :)

Amid all the bluff and double-bluff about whether it's Northolt or Heathrow, do people really think Air Force One can safely use Northolt's 5,500 feet 07/25 runway ?

Edited to add : that is assuming AF1 (being only a call sign) is operated by one of the 747/VC-25 aircraft.

If it goes to LHR I bet it dont have to wait 45 mins to be allocated a remote stand when parking on the south side of 27L. And I bet he dont have to wait another 30 mins for the handling agent to find a suitable set of steps either.........

If the TV news last night was any indication, AF1 used LHR.

If hearing the callsign "Air Force One" on 120.40 on Tuesday night was anything to go by I think I can safely say he did!

Jerricho
20th Nov 2003, 18:45
Unfortunately when AF1 was transferred to 120.4, it was a little busy and it didn't get a chance to "check in".
