What is the plans for the prime piece of real estate in the ex colony of ours??

This recent picture (http://www.airliners.net/open.file/459100/L) shows it as part dug up - but still a vast area of acreage up for use?

Any ideas?

Don't know about the real estate, but our sim engineers have left the old airport in for a bit of fun. Perhaps your software still has it too, try HKX or VXXX which is how it's identified in ours.

The future of the Kai Tak site is included in the South Kowloon Development plan...

They're going to turn the runway part into a touristy part .

Alot of GA guys in the region want to campaign for the runway to stay open but to no avail, - they're only going to keep a heliport there and a small aviation museum. oh and lets not forget all the other exciting things they're going to build like an IMAX theatre... oooohhh. Madness
