NOT SURE WHERE I SHOULD BE POSTING THIS BUT HERE GOES!

I have (after much travelling around) an absolute shed load of Euro coins (all cents, 1's , 2's , 5's , 10's , 20's , 50's) now due to the volume (and i am talking a shed load) i shall need to get them changed in to notes at the bank. Does anyone know how many i should bunch up together (like the uk have those little plastic bags where you put £1 in 2p's, and £5 in 5p's, £10 in 20p's etc...)

I agree, tis a strange and possibly sad question but if anyone knows i'd be enternally greatful AND BEERS OF COURSE WOULD BE ON MOI!!

Thanks
OJ

If you are proposing to change them in the US I don't know... in my experience banks don't change coins... come to Ireland though as they use both Euros and bank change bags.

My preferred avenues for such unchangeable change is the BA UNICEF envelopes or the charity collection bin at ORK. Perhaps there is such a thing at your airport? Useful for pre-euro coins such as deutchmarks, francs etc. as can't change them anywhere but central banks.
