We have been running simulation for ATC around the CH/CG area and there are definately a few hot spots coming up.
As you receive take off instructions at CH you may also receive traffic from the tower about overflying VFRs not on freq. in the overlying E airspace above.

Also, BNA/TYH PJE aircraft mixing it with B767 and B737 traffic into CG approx. 30nm to 50nm south of CG.
NAS 2b does not look pretty from an ATC view point.Does it look good for any one else?

There is not a lot of prettiness:yuk:

Do a search on "NAS" using the search button above and you will see these and other scenarios that look like sh1t from the ATC perspective. EVERY major airport, and some of the others, have the PJE issue. They are used to being positively separated, now they will just get traffic. We can do it in the simulator (and it looks horrible) but nobody knows what it will be like for real.

You are griping about the tower passing radar observed traffic in E airspace over the top of D (currently C airspace). Think of Tassie & Alice Springs where the traffic will just be there and nobody can see it. (Please no cr@p about windows as the ultimate separation tool).

However, I am prepared to admit that just because it looks like cr@p to us ATC there is the possibility it may work. Just don't believe it.:8 The unions don't believe it either, and are ready for the BIGGEST "I told you so" if something bad happens.

John Anderson & Dick Smith will fry in hell if it does.
