...a copy of the book by Clive Du Cros about the building of his all-wood replica prototype Spitfire (the one now used as a touring piece by Southampton Hall of Aviation). Not sure of the title, although I think it was something like "Birth of a Spitfire"??

If anyone knows where I can easily get a copy (or if they have one they could part with for a reasonable fee), please let me know.

While I would not wish to give away a favourite source I guess I may do better if they thrive than if they dive so: I get all the books I can through 'Alibris' Second hand books usually in excellent condition passed on using Inet as agent. Terrific value.
