Before the rumours run away with themeselves, Baron 55 Z-WPP (KARINA TEXTILES) had an incident at Mbeya, Tanzania, 11/11/2003. Pilot and pax (owner) all safe and well. The right main gear failed to lock on touch down despite greens. The pilot managed to maintain directional control in the landing roll and limit damage, which is being assesed by TDCA, the insurers and independant engineers. AEROTECH has apparently dispatched an aircraft to the scene with engineers and tooling to remove the B55 from anyones way.
