Star Alliance wants to cancel Mexicana's membership

Apologies to all, so far I could only find a report in German.

A difference between UAL and MXA is said to be the main reason for MXA's leave from Star Alliance.

United & Mexicana are ending their code share on 31st March next.
It would therefore appear that the Star Alliance consider that Mexicana is unlikely
to meet the criteria for membership as a stand alone mermber.
