Does anyone have any information on these companies? I have heard they are both looking for either DC9 or MD80 crew. Thank you.

 :ok:

Bellview operational base is Lagos, Nigeria. The company was established in 1991 as a travel agency, eventually ventured into the scheduled market and after a 12-year flirt with the DC-9, is now operating an all-Boeing 737-200 fleet, total of 4. The MD-83 crew hunt is confirmed and the a/c (if ever delivered!) will most probably be used on scheduled flights to West/Central Africa. This, of course, is subject to the Nigerian's govt. delivery on an earlier pledge to give private airlines access to BASA rights.

Bellview is one of the better players in Nigeria with a sound safety record and reasonable maintenance/training programs.
They fly to about 11 cities in Nigeria and abroad (by using foreign carrier's BASA rights).

I hope it will make a difference as Bellview is always late / does not appear here in Salone.

We all fly via London back to SA due to their lack of time (as well as Ghana Airways) :(

If they where on time / relaiable you could have 50 to 80 Saffer pax as we could take a direct flight straight to SA via Lagos or Accra.

About 80 % of us go via London and a few via Dakar.

Cheers,

Gunssss
