Anyone ever tried going there from outside New Zealand?
They say you must have permanent residency there before you can even apply. But has it been done that someone has gotten in from outside?:confused:

Anyone there who can offer advise or assistance?

Can think of one exRSAF chap who got in a while ago but he had been living in NZ for a couple of years and was working for an Air NZ feeder for about 6 months at the time. Think of it as being much like SAA taking on foriegners, there is a huge pool of guys available locally who really want to fly for the national carrier so supply always outstrips demand by about 10 to 1. Get an application and have a look but you may have to come over for a while first and the rest of the industry is a bit f**ked up.
