Hi there,
I haven't started any flight training yet, still weighing up my options!

My question is this: after gaining a CPL, and say landing a job flying for private owners (i.e setting up a business doing this- claim VAT back on training, if VAT registered). What are the requirements for this, i.e do I need an AOC, insurance-what sort etc. Obviously a type rating is needed on each aircraft??

Aerial photography- do you need an AOC for this?? I read in a book that you don't need an aircraft registered for aerial works so long as you don't have a mount for the camera, is this True??

What other types of work is available to a fresh faced CPL??

Many thanks
Spinningtop.

Hi Spinningtop
You'll find the answers to all these questions if you use the 'Search' facility. Some answers are in threads you've started or in which you've participated. I understand your enthusiasm but the questions are just a little premature. Far better to concentrate on your A levels and read the forums in your spare time to learn about the industry.
