Every year Saudia hands out contracts to several Charter airlines for the Hajj. To name a few AirAtlanta, Onur air, European Air charter and Universal Air were awarded the contracts in 2003.
In 2004 Air Atlanta will definately make a comeback to Jeddah. Air Universal which operated a L1011 is getting a hold of two B747-200s for the Hajj.
Do any of you have more info on the upcoming hajj?

Probably best not to discuss your hotac plans for such a sensitive location in open forum. Its dangerous enough down there just now without advertising it.

Hajj is performed once a year, according to the Islamic Lunar Calendar. The hajj will be in Jan - Feb 2004 however, the Hajj movement into Saudia airports will start mid- December this year.
