BMI question of legend

Yesterday I noted on an A320 in current livery 'British Midland' emblazoned in white letters. I have not noticed this before as the blue/white livery had 'BMI' on it. Can one tell me if the full titles are being put back on the a/c.

Also the gey/blue livery on a number of a/c plus some a/c in 'Star Alliance' white/dark blue. Are these aircraft due to be returned hence the old livery or does this reflect lack of avaition finanaces.

In an ideal world, we'd have the whole fleet in the new livery,
but, I guess, due to the finances and timescale involved in getting each a/c on to check to paint em.....
Thats why there are so many different varieties to spot
Look at the old BA tailplane fiasco.......I'm sure that there are a few a/c flying about with that mess on them..
