Hello to everybody.
Is there anyone who is familiar with the situation of traffic in the Milan airport system (MXP - LIN - BGY)?
Do you think the current situation is sustainable?
Linate was basically the only airport in Italy, apart from Fiumicino, to have large flows of traffic.
Then Malpensa 2000 as opened... some traffic was moved there, but year after year the traffic is decreasing at MXP and it keeps going up in LIN.
BGY remained empty for so long, but now thanks to low-cost carriers, passengers discovered it and seems to like it.
The main problem remains LIN vs MXP. Do you think Malpensa has chances to grow if traffic in LIN is not reduced "by law"?

Tks for your opinion
