After many political complications the first A/C a Swiss A319 has now finally landed on RWY 34 in ZRH followed by several other ships for about one hour, from 6:09 to 7:05 local.
At 6:09 the Swiss flight out of Tripoli asked the tower “Were we the first on 34?” “Yes Sir” “Alright then, now that wasn’t so difficult was it?”
Anti airport campaigners did promise to disrupt the approaches. Police was patrolling with NVG´s and full equipment but other then some flashes, presumably from photo cameras, no interruption to the approaches were noted.
During daytime the southern approaches ought to be quite a sight for passengers and crews, hope ya´ll enjoy it.
