I'm trying to find out some detailed information about U.S. based freighter FO position.
I know some of these questions may have been covered before but I would like to get some current info please.
How does scheduling work for each month?
Do you bid a line for the month or are you just assigned a schedule?
What are the average days off for lineholders and reserves?
What is the current payrate for the freighter FOs and Capts?
(i.e. 1st year, 2nd year, etc...)
Benefits? (medical, dental, vacation, retirement)
What's a realistic timeframe to upgrade to captain on the freighter?
What are the minimums to upgrade?
Any info would be appreciated. Thanks
