Does anyone know what the announcement is about concerning Emirates and Manchester? The announcement is suppose to be on top of the 777 replacing one the 330 flights.
Could this be the long awaited DXB-MAN-JFK flight?

I doubt it. If it is an equipment change, it would be because with the increase in frequency on most routes and the delay of aircraft orders, they are just short on airframes.
The US is still on the board though....routing...not knowing?

As far as we dumb pilots are aware- the plans for DXB - JFK are nonstop with A340-500 starting next year.
