realistic start dates for sept. 2nd interview

Hello guys,

Anyone has any idea on realistic start dates these days for S/Os?(Adelaide) spelling?...I heard that it might be more than 6,7 months after 2nd interview.

Anyone has other info?

yup, for someone with a hire date in march,, the course for so in adelaide looks like mid to late 2004..
does that sound right?

how do most people prepare for adelaide?

I interviewed in April and was accepted early August for the S/O position. I was just recently told by Cathay that the first 6 months of 2004 are scheduled for Freighter F/O training, with S/O courses to start after that. My expected course date is 12-14 months from now for my group. Disappointing, but well worth the wait I'm sure. Hopefully we all get there sooner, but 1 more year won't matter in the scheme of things.....
