So, with sponsorship from Richard Branson and Virgin Atlantic, Steve is going to attempt to fly around the world in a single engined aircraft in less than 80 hours.

QUESTION: Does anyone know what type of aircraft he is modifying for the attempt and are there any web links to it?

Ta muchly

Perhaps you might want to head on over to this thread Topic: Branson on the Beeb BA Bashing (http://www.pprune.org/forums/showthread.php?s=&postid=1040115#post1040115)

The picture there has been included below:

Will be a little slower than his Citation-X by the looks of it! I don't know if I'd be real keen on trying to land thr thing after nearly 80 hours airborne - best of luck to him I guess!

Now if only he could do something about the paint job on that thing- something less gaudy...

Lets see, thats about a 8 Tonnes of fuel to Burn in 80 hrs. So thats 100kgs/hr or 220 lbs /hr give or take. Not Bad. Pretty efficient Engine.

Good luck Steve
