PF Landing Mishap

Hey.

Read in The Advertiser this morning that a light twin had a landing mishap at Parafield yesturday afternoon.. Everyone knows that you can't trust the media, so I was wondering if anyone had anymore information on this?

Yeah Natit,

Apparently a Seneca had a nosewheel collapse after touchdown. Didn't see the aircraft myself, but it did close PF for the evening as it happened on the only rwy with lights.

Thanks for that fox... you wouldn't know who was operating the PA34 at the time would you?

Very reliable source tells me both main tires have flat spots down to the canvas, possibly due to the pilot having his size 10's on the brakes at touchdown. oops!!! :ouch:
