How long before confirmation

G'Day all,
I recently sent back my CX application form for Direct Entry SO. How long is it before it gets processed and a confirmation is sent.
Does this confirmation have something to do with the postcard they send you.

I sent my app in by Fed-Ex on a Wednesday. They received it on Saturday and posted a reply letter saying everything was on file on Tuesday. Took another 10 days to show up in my mail. Hope this helps.
