Got a problem I'd appreciate some advice with.

After reading the terrible safety record of China Airlines (http://www.airsafe.com/events/airlines/taiwan.htm) some time ago I swore never to fly with them under any circumstances. I now have a friend travelling to stay with me in Bangkok for a few weeks and she has just booked China Airlines as they offered the best deal.

I am tempted to tell her of their record but on the other hand whats the point as the ticket is already bought and won't be refundable?

Any suggestions? Have China Airlines radically improved their fleet/training and safety culture in the last 12 months by any chance?

It sounds to me like they only offered the cheapest deal, not the best!

My advice is to say nothing. You'll only worry her sick, to no point. Whatever the airline's safety record, she'd do better by being more careful every time she crosses the road.
