Anyone out there got any information or websites on Osubi Airstrip, Warri?

Worked in Nigeria a few years ago and remember flying into the old Warri strip in Twin Otters where the main road went across the runway. Just wondered how things had improved...

Shell Petroleum Development Company, operator of the NNPC/ Shell/ Agip/Elf joint venture in Nigeria, have a newish US$42 million facility there to support 328Jet services from Lagos and EC155 ops to the local rigs. The strip is located located five nm from the Ogunu Industrial Area from which helicopters ops (most recently with Bristow 212) were originally conducted (see http://209.196.171.35/bases_warri.htm for historic gen).
