Now before anyone screams at me to say I can do the conversion in the UK, I WANT TO DO IT IN THE STATES!

So i'm wondering what is the best way to locate an appropriate school for converting my JAR CPL(H) into an american, and probably also gain an FAA Instructors Licence also.

I preferably want to do it at a place at altitude. Does anyone know of a website that list helicopter schools in the states?

Also, any tips would be greatly appreciated.

There are a number of websites where flight schools are listed, try google.com - altavista.com - yahoo.com etc Also have a look at www.DutchCountryHelo.com who would be delighted to assist you to convert from a JAA CPL to an FAA CPL(h) and will also do your instructor rating. All for 120 pounds per hour for the Bell 47!
