Yet another warbird crashes with loss of pilot-
Confederate air force Wildcat crashed on approach to Ellington Field following a photo sortie after the "Wings over Houston" show yesterday (Sat)

Its been a pretty tragic year hasn't it?

From other sources, it was suggested that he was trying to get some spacing from a B-25 in front of him, on final when he got slow and stalled in. Very sad day.

That is the preliminary report Papertiger. Houston FSDO is investigating and more information will undoubtedly come out. Don't know if NTSB is in yet.
