With Boeing announcing the end of the 757 production line, this should narrow down the options to the TUI groups fleet rollover choice.

Does this mean the A320/321 is to be the new shorthaul type for the TUI group(Britannia/Hapag/Corsair), or will they go for/stick with the New generation 737.

Will the 767's also go from the Britannia fleet and be replaced by the A330?

Lots of questions awaiting answers!:hmm: :hmm:

Hi Boy of the night,

I understand Brit's have been asking for tenders for Airbus training at a number of UK Airbus Airlines. The A320/21, A330 would fit their operation and still keep a common type rating.
Their proposed low cost airline is a good proving arena for their new type. However, Brit's have a team in Seattle as well so who knows...

You sound as though you might know more?

What are the team in Seattle for, 7E7 or 737 or just saying farewell!:hmm:

Britannia operated a Transaer machine for a while in the late 1990's, then decided to buy a few B737-800's.
