Hello all

I'm travelling to Bahrain in December with KLM and according to my ticket there's a stop enroute on both the outbound and return sectors. Could anyone tell me where? The outbound flight is on Saturday, inbound on a Wednesday.

Thanks

Hello Reverserunlocked,
If there is a stop-over it will be in AUH (Abu Dhabi). The groundstop will be as short as we can make it, so no tax-free shopping in AUH. There are days that the stop-over is only outbound from Amsterdam, and a direct flight from Bahrain to Amsterdam (a triangle). From my schedule I know the flight leaving early Friday morning out of Bahrain is direct. There are other days as well. Some days it is like you are flying, a stop-over both ways.
Regards, O.

As Otterman says it's a triangle route. Some days it goes AMS/BAH/AUH/AMS and others AMS/AUH/BAH/AMS. You seem to have lucked out and picked days when it goes via AUH!

Thanks for that Otterman :ok:

But AMS-BAH goes all the way via Abu Dhabi? :(

Sheesh next they'll tell me that MAN-AMS goes via Paris!

KLM always do this to me - last time was AMS-DXB that flew over Dubai to stop in....Muscat..... :* before turning round, and BEY-AMS that went via Damascus!!
