Does anyone know if Bendrofluazide is approved for treatment of high blood pressure, or alternatively, where can I find a list of approved medications?

Thanks

Not being a doctor I don't know which group of drugs that one falls into, but the CAA will accept any ACE inhibitor for treatment of blood pressure. Beta Blockers are a definite no no, and if I remember correctly, they also accept the calcium blocking types.

Best thing is to call the CAA and speak to an advisor who will tell you if it is ok or not.

don't know about CAA, but all FAA blanket approved medications are listed on the AOPA web site in the "turbomedical"
