Hello all,

As a pax I did the LHR-FRA run the other day (I am due to fly back tonight). I have a couple fo Q's regarding the route.

We departed EGLL on 09R and I think we followed the BPK departure and then onwards to CLN. However it could of been a DVR SID. Which one would it most likely to have been?

I am assuming that on the way back we will be sent down the "CLN Corridor" and on towards LAM.

Cheers,
???pax

departing 09R:

after take off, basically - ahead then left turn = BPK5J SID
- ahead then slight right turn = DVR6J SID

DVR and BPK are both used for FRA flights. I don't know what makes an airline chose one over the other though.

Probably comes down to which route offers the most advantageous slot
