New routes from ABZ?

There is a rumour around that there will be a new airline offering flights from ABZ to London and Sardinia. Anyone with more details or a confirmation? Who will operate this?

Not heard about Sardinia... but ABZ - Stansted will allegedly be starting soon. 146's operated by a UK offshoot of a recently demised German Carrier :D Not holding my breath too deeply.....

I have always thought an Aberdeen - Cork service might work out okay what with the oil and gas connections etc. Highland Express Jetstreams were operating at a near daily schedule between the two points earlier in the summer.

Might be something for Jetmagic to ponder?

Interesting, might ABZ to Stansted be such a profitable route, that a German outfit jumps into that gap? No Ryanair, Easyjet etc?

Can men operate a BAe 146 profitable on such a route?
