Hi Guys

Just a quick question, when someone finishes a QF LAME apprenticeship, what kinda salary would someone be on ?

How long is a piece of string?

It depends very much on where you are working and what shift pattern you work.

Current rates are $668pw for tradesmen or $696 if you have completed 8 CASA basic exams plus any applicable shift penalties which are dependant in which area you are employed. Are you looking at a workshop (component) apprentice stream or aircraft maintenance?

Don't know what the current policies are like but I would suspect you would be extremely unlikely to come out of your apprenticeship and go straight on a type course to get a licence.
