I have heard on the grapevine about an Airwest Aviation based somewhere in Central/Western NSW (Dubbo?).

Their website sounds promising http://www.flyairwest.com.au/

However I can't find them when doing a CASA search for air operators.

What do they do/propose to do? Charter, flying school or is it another RPT hopeful? A/c types?

Any info appreciated.

Website sounds promising? Unless I'm mistaken, it's only one banner.........

it sounds suss to me.........

looks like an operator that will not pay the pilots a wage... maybe they will specialise in Bank running doing ICUS paid for by the pilot.

when I am working for them earning 45K a year then it will be promising.

Cirrus is based in Mackay isnt it??? didnt Cirrus have the contract for Toll Priority before losing out to Jeetcraft?????

the Big guy is really big isnt he????

of Mammoth proportions isnt it????

Thanks GroundedSeagull. This confirms my info that they are looking at acquiring a Bandit for regional RPT ops ex Dubbo, start date early-mid 2004.

They are offering Cadetship programs for F/O's. Should start up late this year.
