The YSSY Jeppesen plates contain a Note prohibiting circling at night to RWY 07, RWY 25 and RWY16L. The note was apparently introduced eff 17 Apr 03 due to rwy edge and threshold lights not being visible downwind.
The DAP chart for RWY 25 ILS does not contain this note eff 17 Apr 03. I have not seen any other DAP charts.
Notwithstanding that circling approaches at Sydney are never? conducted, anyone know why there is a difference between the charts, and which one is correct?
